See how the experts design and write their social media profiles to drive leads and follows...

Read time: 2.5 minutes

Your social media profile is a mini landing page.

It should grab attention and drive a specific action.

You can do this by optimizing:

  • Your profile pic

  • Your banner

  • Your name

  • Your bio

  • Your link

Make sure these things work in unisonā€¦

So that your profile does two things:

1. Presents your identity

Ā ā†’ your colour, fonts, style, and personality

2. Communicates your value

Ā ā†’ who you help, how you help them, and why they should follow you

Want some real examples?

I got youā€¦

Below are 3 expert social media profiles from people I follow.Ā

Iā€™ve included notes for each one about what makes them effective in driving leads and follows.

(ā€¦and notice how you can customize the location field on Twitter)

Letā€™s take a peekā€¦ā€Ø

Sure, these folks have a lots of followers, but they had to start somewhere tooā€¦

Even if youā€™re just starting outā€¦

Donā€™t worry about getting everything perfect!

Itā€™s better to start now with what you have, and iterate over time.ā€Ø

Since starting this newsletter, Iā€™ve made lots of tweaks to my profileā€¦

Making it better as I became clearer about the value I offer, and as I figure out the design style I like best.

Rememberā€¦

This is a process, not a one-shot deal.

And if you need to get yourself a hot new banner or an engaging bioā€¦ just hit that reply button and let me know.
